Sandalwood actor Mohan Juneja no more

Actor and comedian Mohan Juneja has passed away today morning. The actor who was suffering from prolonged illness failed to respond to the treatment and breathed his last at a private hospital in Bengaluru. He was 54.

Mohan as a comedian has also many languages in his career which has spanned over decades. He has acted in over 100 films. He was also seen in the superhit film KGF:Chapter 2 and KGF: Chapter 1. His role in Chellata which gave a major break in Ganesh’s career is still remembered by audiences. Mohan was even acted with Darshan, Upendra, Puneeth Rajkumar, Ambareesh, Shivarajkumar and many other prominent stars of Sandalwood.

His death has left fans and members of Sandalwood community in a state of shock as they express condolences on social media pages. Mohan has also acted in several serials like Vatara who took him closer to audiences. He has majorly acted in villain as well as comedy roles which was well received by Kannada audiences. At a very young age, Mohan who was not interested in studies, got associated with a theatre troupe which later made him to enter into the film industry.

Actor Ganesh took his twitter page to express grief over his death. He wrote, “Om Shanthi” by sharing Mohan’s picture. Directors Suni, Pawan Wadeyar and Chethan Kumar have also mourned his death. Vasishita N Simha on his twitter page wrote, “We will miss you sir..” Raghu Mukherjee posted, “Rest in peace #mohanjuneja”

Hombale films which backed KGF: Chapter 2 condoled the death of the actor on twitter which reads, ”

Our heartfelt Condolences to actor Mohan Juneja’s family, friends & well-wishers. He was one of the best-known faces in Kannada films & our KGF family.”

Mohan Juneja who hails from Tumkur studied and settled down in Bengaluru. The last rites will be performed today.
