Rebecca Adlington has suffered a “devastating” miscarriage and says she is preventing sepsis after emergency surgical procedure.

The previous Olympic swimmer shared the heart-breaking information on Instagram, posting a photograph exhibiting her mendacity in a hospital mattress holding a cup of tea, with an IV line behind her hand.

In her message, she stated that she and her husband, facility supervisor Andy Parsons, found they’d misplaced their child throughout their 12-week scan.
