Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor recently opened up about his childhood while promoting his latest film ‘Jersey. Talking about his past memories, he revealed that although his school days in Mumbai weren’t good, he had a lot of fun in college.

Talking to Curly Tales, the ‘Jersey’ actor said that he hated his school as he was bullied and even treated very badly. He shared how teachers were not very nice to him. However, it wasn’t the case with him in his Delhi school where he studied from Jr KG and had a lot of friends.

Things eventually got better for Shahid when he joined Mithibai College in Mumbai. “My college in Bombay was really nice. I had a lot of fun,” he added.

Shahid Kapoor is the son of veteran stars, Pankaj Kapur and Neelima Azeem who parted ways when the ‘Kabir Singh’ actor was just 3-years old. Talking about raising Shahid and his younger brother Ishaan Khatter as a single mother, previously Neelima had told BT, “I raised my kids as a single mother and it was very tough in those days. Now, after working very hard and struggling for so many years, it is a happy time to watch my sons do exceptionally good work in films and spend time with my grand kids. I don’t have to now bother about anything and can easily relax while my sons look after me so well.”

Interestingly, ‘Jersey’ stars Shahid sharing screenspace with Pankaj Kapur. It also has Mrunal Thakur in a key role.
