Bollywood celebrities like Anupam Kher, Suniel Shetty and Boman Irani on Sunday expressed their grief over former Tata Sons chairman Cyrus Mistry‘s demise in a highway accident close to Mumbai.

Anupam wrote, “Deeply saddened to know in regards to the premature demise of #CyrusMistry in a highway accident. My condolences to his household and pals! Om Shanti!🙏🕉”

Suniel tweeted, “Surprising Information. Relaxation in Peace #CyrusMistry Heartfelt condolences to the household 🙏.”

Boman expressed that Cyrus’ loss of life is a loss to the Parsi group. He wrote, “Shocked and saddened by the information of the passing of #cyrusmistri. A large loss for the nation, the enterprise world and the Parsi group. Too younger, too unhappy.”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi additionally condoled the loss of life of former Tata Sons chairman Cyrus Mistry and remembered him as a promising enterprise chief who believed in India’s financial prowess.

“The premature demise of Cyrus Mistry is stunning. He was a promising enterprise chief who believed in India’s financial prowess. His passing away is a giant loss to the world of commerce and trade. Condolences to his household and pals. Could his soul relaxation in peace,” the Prime Minister stated in a Twitter put up.

Mistry, who was the sixth chairman of Tata Sons, was ousted from the place in October 2016. He had taken over because the chairman in December 2012 after Ratan Tata introduced his retirement. N Chandrasekaran later took over as Government Chairman of Tata Sons.
