On the auspicious occasion, Bachchan opted for a traditional look that included a grey kurta with a light blue jacket and his signature glasses. In another picture, he is seen sitting next to Swami Chidananda Saraswati as he was sharing thoughts on the stairs of what seems like Ganga ghat of Rishikesh.
Meanwhile, BigB has also penned his thoughts on the Rishikesh visit in his blog. Recently he shared a monochrome picture of himself where he is seen standing on the bank of Ganga. Looking away from the camera, the candid picture featured him sporting a shawl and his infectious smile.
Channelling his poetic side, he wrote in the caption of the picture “.. the Ganga provokes divinity .. embraces the soul in a way no other can .. and emotes in a manner unknown to mankind .. we see, we hear we know but we do not …”
Amitabh is currently in Rishikesh for the shooting of his upcoming ‘Goodbye’ with Rashmika Mandanna. Previously, he was in Lucknow for the shooting of filmmaker Shoojit Sircar’s ‘The Umesh Chronicles’. Helmed by Pooja Kaul, the film will reportedly star the megastar in a cameo role of a taxi driver for which he shot scenes at the City Station in old Lucknow.
Apart from this, Bachchan will be next seen in Ayan Mukerji’s upcoming ‘Brahmastra’, co-starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.
He was last seen in Nagraj Manjule’s Bollywood debut directorial ‘Jhund’.
